أكد مدرب نادي الخليج، البرتغالي جوزيه غوميز، أهمية مواجهة فريقه القادمة أمام الرياض، مشدداً خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقد مساء اليوم، على أن الخليج يستهدف تحقيق انتصاره الأول في دوري روشن وحصد النقاط الثلاث.
وأوضح غوميز أن الخليج يدخل اللقاء برصيد 3 نقاط فقط، جمعها من ثلاثة تعادلات مقابل خسارتين، مشيراً إلى أن الفريق يسعى لاستغلال نقاط قوته وتقديم المستوى الذي يمكنه من الخروج بنتيجة إيجابية.
وقال: «مواجهة الرياض تتطلب تركيزاً كبيراً، في ظل امتلاك المنافس 4 نقاط جمعها من فوز وتعادل، وعلينا التعامل مع تفاصيل المباراة بالشكل المناسب».
ويطمح الخليج إلى وضع حد لسلسلة النتائج التي حرمته من الفوز في الجولات الخمس الماضية، والعودة بالنقاط الثلاث من أمام الرياض، بما يمنحه دفعة مهمة في مشواره خلال المرحلة القادمة.
The coach of Al-Khaleej Club, Portuguese José Gomes, emphasized the importance of his team’s upcoming match against Riyadh, stressing during the press conference held this evening that Al-Khaleej aims to achieve its first victory in the Roshen League and secure the three points.
Gomes explained that Al-Khaleej enters the match with only 3 points, gathered from three draws and two losses, noting that the team seeks to exploit its strengths and deliver a performance that allows it to achieve a positive result.
He said: “The match against Riyadh requires a lot of focus, especially since the opponent has 4 points from one win and one draw, and we must handle the details of the match appropriately.”
Al-Khaleej hopes to put an end to the series of results that have deprived it of victory in the last five rounds and to return with three points from Riyadh, which would provide a significant boost in its journey during the upcoming phase.
