ضربة جديدة لبنزيما خارج الملعب.. «نايكي» تلغي مشروعها معه قبل التصوير – أخبار السعودية

ألغت شركة «نايكي» في اللحظات الأخيرة جلسة تصوير إعلانية كان من المقرر أن يشارك فيها النجم الفرنسي كريم بنزيما، وسط تقارير تربط القرار بمراجعة الشركة لسجله خارج الملاعب.

وكان من المقرر أن يسافر بنزيما إلى لندن للمشاركة في جلسة تصوير مرتبطة بتعاون بين «نايكي» وعلامة الأزياء البريطانية «Corteiz»، للترويج لمنتج جديد، قبل أن تُبلغ الشركة ممثلي اللاعب بإلغاء المشروع في الليلة السابقة للتصوير.

وبحسب تقرير نشرته «The Athletic» ونقلته وسائل إعلام فرنسية، فإن مسؤولين في «نايكي» أجروا مراجعة أوسع لخلفية بنزيما، وخلصوا إلى أن بعض الوقائع المرتبطة بماضيه الإعلامي والقضائي لا تتوافق مع قيم العلامة التجارية، وهو ما دفع الشركة إلى إنهاء المشروع قبل تنفيذه.

وكان الاتفاق المقترح يتضمن تخصيص منتجات من «نايكي» لبنزيما بقيمة تصل إلى 75 ألف يورو، إلى جانب تغطية ترتيبات سفره إلى لندن، فيما أشارت تقارير إلى أن المشروع كان يمكن أن يمثل بداية تعاون تجاري أوسع، دون أن يكون هناك عقد رعاية شامل قد أُبرم بالفعل. ولم تعلن «نايكي» أسباب إلغاء المشروع.

Nike canceled a photo shoot at the last minute that was scheduled to feature French star Karim Benzema, amid reports linking the decision to the company’s review of his off-field record.

Benzema was set to travel to London for a photo shoot related to a collaboration between Nike and the British fashion label Corteiz, to promote a new product, before the company informed the player’s representatives of the project’s cancellation the night before the shoot.

According to a report published by The Athletic and relayed by French media, officials at Nike conducted a broader review of Benzema’s background and concluded that some incidents related to his media and legal past did not align with the brand’s values, prompting the company to terminate the project before it was executed.

The proposed agreement included allocating Nike products to Benzema worth up to 75,000 euros, along with covering his travel arrangements to London, while reports indicated that the project could have represented the beginning of a broader commercial collaboration, although no comprehensive sponsorship contract had already been signed. Nike did not disclose the reasons for canceling the project.
