أعلن الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم تأجيل موعد مباراة كأس السوبر الخليجي للأندية 2026، والتي ستجمع ناديي دهوك العراقي بطل النسخة الأولى من دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية، ونادي الريان القطري بطل النسخة الثانية من الدوري، التي كان من المقرر تنظيمها يوم 13 أغسطس 2026 إلى موعد يحدد لاحقََا وذلك بسبب الظروف الراهنة في المنطقة.
وجدَد الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم تأكيده بإقامة المباراة في محافظة دهوك العراقية وفقََا لما كان مقررََا مسبقََا، على أن يتم الإعلان عن الموعد الجديد واستكمال كافة الإجراءات المتعلقة بإقامة المباراة في الوقت المناسب وبالتنسيق مع الجهات ذات الصلة.
وتمثل هذه النسخة المستحدثة من كأس السوبر محطة مهمة في تطوير المنافسات الإقليمية وتعزيز حضورها على الساحة الكروية الخليجية، إلى جانب ما يُتوقع أن تحظى به من اهتمام جماهيري وإعلامي واسع في المنطقة.
The Gulf Football Federation announced the postponement of the Gulf Super Cup match for clubs in 2026, which will bring together the Iraqi club Duhok, the champion of the first edition of the Gulf Champions League, and the Qatari club Al Rayyan, the champion of the second edition of the league. The match was originally scheduled to take place on August 13, 2026, but has been postponed to a later date due to the current circumstances in the region.
The Gulf Football Federation reiterated its confirmation to hold the match in the Iraqi province of Duhok as previously planned, with the new date to be announced and all procedures related to the match to be completed in due time and in coordination with the relevant authorities.
This new edition of the Super Cup represents an important milestone in the development of regional competitions and enhancing their presence on the Gulf football scene, alongside the expected wide public and media interest in the region.
