فضلت إدارة النادي الأهلي تكريم قائد فريها السابق تيسير الجاسم بطريقتها الخاصة نظير الإنجازات التي حققها بشعار النادي الأهلي، حيث اختير «الجاسم» لحمل كأس النخبة قبل انطلاق المباراة النهائية بين الأهلي ونظيره ماتشيدا زيلفيا الياباني، في نهائي دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2025-2026، التي احتضنها ملعب مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، ولقيت هذه البادرة استحسان الجماهير الحاضرة التي هتفت لـ«الجاسم» طويلاً، الذي بدوره بادرهم بالتحية برفع الكأس الذي حققه الأهلي في نسخته الأولى، في الوقت الذي غرد فيه الموقع الرسمي للنادي الأهلي في منصة «x» على الصورة التي نشرها بعبارة «الأسطورة تيسير الجاسم.. فصلٌ خالدٌ من تاريخنا المجيد ونحن له الحكاية كلّها.. عشقه الأبدي ومجده الذي لا يحيد».
The management of Al-Ahli Club preferred to honor their former team captain, Taysir Al-Jassim, in their own special way in recognition of the achievements he accomplished under the Al-Ahli banner. Al-Jassim was chosen to carry the Elite Cup before the kickoff of the final match between Al-Ahli and their Japanese counterpart, Machida Zelvia, in the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League final, held at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. This gesture was well-received by the attending fans, who cheered for Al-Jassim for a long time. In return, he greeted them by raising the cup that Al-Ahli won in its first edition. Meanwhile, the official Al-Ahli Club account tweeted on the platform “x” alongside the photo it published with the phrase, “The legend Taysir Al-Jassim… an eternal chapter in our glorious history, and we have the whole story for him… his eternal passion and his unwavering glory.”
