حطمت أندية الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز رقمها القياسي في الإنفاق الصيفي للعام الثاني على التوالي، بعدما بلغ إجمالي إنفاق الأندية العشرين نحو 3.46 مليار جنيه إسترليني مع إغلاق نافذة الانتقالات ليلة الثلاثاء.
وجاءت ذروة الإنفاق في اليوم الأخير، حيث أنفقت الأندية 475 مليون جنيه، في يوم الموعد النهائي وحده، بزيادة عن 391 مليوناً في 2025.
واختتم مانشستر سيتي، الأكثر إنفاقاً هذا الصيف بإجمالي 458 مليون جنيه، ميركاتو المدرب الجديد إنزو ماريسكا بالتعاقد مع لاعب الوسط الأرجنتيني إنزو فرنانديز، من تشيلسي مقابل 125 مليون جنيه، في صفقة تعادل الرقم القياسي البريطاني، إلى جانب ضم الجناح السنغالي إيليمان ندياي، من إيفرتون مقابل 65 مليون جنيه.
وشهد السوق أربع صفقات تجاوزت حاجز 100 مليون جنيه، وهي ضمن أغلى 11 صفقة في تاريخ المسابقة وهم:
1 – إليوت أندرسون، من نوتنغهام فورست إلى مانشستر سيتي مقابل 116 مليون جنيه.
2 – مورغان روجرز، من أستون فيلا إلى تشيلسي مقابل 117 مليون جنيه.
3 – برادلي باركولا، من باريس سان جيرمان إلى ليفربول مقابل 107 ملايين كقيمة أساسية، قابلة للارتفاع إلى 123 مليوناً.
كما حطم توتنهام هوتسبير رقمه القياسي بضم ساندرو تونالي، من نيوكاسل يونايتد في صفقة قد تصل إلى 100 مليون جنيه.
وأنفق تشيلسي، مع مدربه الجديد تشابي ألونسو، 349 مليون جنيه، بينما أنفق توتنهام 302 مليون جنيه ضمن إعادة بناء الفريق.
ويأتي هذا الرقم بعد عام واحد فقط من تجاوز الإنفاق حاجز 3 مليارات لأول مرة في 2025، مقارنة بـ 1.13 مليار جنيه قبل خمس سنوات، مع ارتفاع نسبة الصفقات بين أندية البريميرليغ نفسها إلى 38%.
Premier League clubs have shattered their summer spending record for the second consecutive year, with total spending by the twenty clubs reaching around £3.46 billion as the transfer window closed on Tuesday night.
The peak of spending occurred on the final day, with clubs spending £475 million on deadline day alone, up from £391 million in 2025.
Manchester City, the biggest spenders this summer with a total of £458 million, concluded the transfer window under new coach Enzo Maresca by signing Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea for £125 million, a deal that matches the British record, along with the acquisition of Senegalese winger Iliman Ndiaye from Everton for £65 million.
The market saw four deals surpassing the £100 million mark, which are among the 11 most expensive transfers in the competition’s history:
1 – Elliot Anderson, from Nottingham Forest to Manchester City for £116 million.
2 – Morgan Rogers, from Aston Villa to Chelsea for £117 million.
3 – Bradley Barcola, from Paris Saint-Germain to Liverpool for £107 million as a base fee, potentially rising to £123 million.
Tottenham Hotspur also broke their record by signing Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United in a deal that could reach £100 million.
Chelsea, under their new coach Xabi Alonso, spent £349 million, while Tottenham spent £302 million as part of their team rebuilding.
This figure comes just one year after spending surpassed the £3 billion mark for the first time in 2025, compared to £1.13 billion five years ago, with the percentage of deals between Premier League clubs themselves rising to 38%.
