تطلق هيئة الإذاعة والتلفزيون، عند الرابعة عصر (الأحد) 18 أكتوبر 2026، البث الرسمي للقناة الرياضية الثالثة، المتخصصة في المحتوى الرياضي الأرشيفي والوثائقي؛ بهدف توثيق تاريخ الرياضة السعودية وحفظ إرثها، واستعراض أبرز بطولاتها وإنجازاتها ورموزها ولحظاتها التاريخية.
وتقدم القناة على مدار الساعة مجموعة من المباريات المحلية والخليجية والعربية والعالمية المؤرشفة في كرة القدم والألعاب المختلفة، إلى جانب إعادة عرض البرامج الرياضية الكلاسيكية والمسابقات القديمة التي ارتبطت بذاكرة الجماهير.
وتأتي الخطوة امتداداً لجهود الهيئة في إبراز الإرث الرياضي السعودي، وإتاحة الفرصة للأجيال الجديدة للتعرف على أبرز محطات تاريخ الرياضة السعودية ومنجزاتها.
The Broadcasting and Television Authority will launch the official broadcast of the third sports channel at 4 PM (Sunday) October 18, 2026, specializing in archival and documentary sports content; aimed at documenting the history of Saudi sports and preserving its legacy, showcasing its most prominent championships, achievements, icons, and historical moments.
The channel will provide a round-the-clock collection of archived local, Gulf, Arab, and international matches in football and various sports, in addition to re-broadcasting classic sports programs and old competitions that are linked to the memories of the fans.
This step comes as an extension of the Authority’s efforts to highlight the Saudi sports legacy and provide the new generations with the opportunity to learn about the most significant milestones in the history of Saudi sports and its achievements.
