أعرب المدير الفني لفريق ماتشيدا زيلفيا الياباني، «غو كورودا»، عن سعادته الكبيرة بتأهل فريقه إلى نصف نهائي دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، وذلك عقب فوزه على الاتحاد السعودي بهدف نظيف، ضمن منافسات ربع نهائي البطولة.
وأكّد «كورودا»، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عُقد عقب اللقاء بملعب مدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل بجدة، أن صعوبة المواجهة تكمن في قوة المنافس، مبيناً أن الأداء الجماعي للاعبين كان العامل الأبرز في تحقيق الانتصار، كما عبّر عن تقديره للجماهير اليابانية سواء التي تابعت المباراة من بلادها أو تلك التي ساندت الفريق في المدرجات.
وأشار إلى أن مواجهة فريق بحجم الاتحاد على أرضه وبين جماهيره تمثل تحديّاً كبيراً، موضحاً أن فريقه تعامل مع اللقاء بتركيز عالٍ، وأن الحظ كان حاضراً في حسم النتيجة، مؤكداً في الوقت ذاته أن كرة القدم تقوم على مبدأ الربح والخسارة، بعيداً عن تحميل التحكيم مسؤولية النتائج، لافتاً إلى أن خبرته السابقة في المجال التعليمي أسهمت في تطوير أسلوبه الإداري والفني، مما انعكس على تنظيم الفريق وتتويج جهود اللاعبين المستمرة منذ بداية الموسم.
من جانبه، أكد المدير الفني لفريق الاتحاد «كونسيساو»، أن فريقه سعى لتغيير النتيجة عبر تعديل النهج الفني لمواجهة سرعة الخصم، مشيراً إلى أن الفريق تحسن دفاعياً وظهر بشكل أخطر هجومياً بعد التغييرات التي أجراها، معتبراً أن فريقه لا يستحق الخسارة.
وأوضح أن إشراك اللاعب «دانيلو بيريرا» في مركز المحور جاء لتعزيز التوازن، لافتاً إلى أن غياب التوفيق في «اللمسة الأخيرة» حال دون تعديل النتيجة رغم الوصول المتكرر للمرمى في الشوط الثاني، مختتماً تصريحه بالإشادة بالروح القتالية للاعبين رغم الخروج من البطولة.

He noted that his previous experience in the educational field contributed to the development of his managerial and technical style, which reflected in the organization of the team and the culmination of the players’ continuous efforts since the beginning of the season.
For his part, the head coach of Al-Ittihad, “Conceição,” confirmed that his team sought to change the result by adjusting the tactical approach to counter the opponent’s speed, indicating that the team improved defensively and appeared more threatening offensively after the changes he made, considering that his team did not deserve to lose.
He explained that the inclusion of player “Danilo Pereira” in the pivot position was aimed at enhancing balance, noting that a lack of luck in the “final touch” prevented them from equalizing despite repeated attempts to reach the goal in the second half, concluding his statement by praising the fighting spirit of the players despite being eliminated from the tournament.
